A practical subsidies model designed to reduce the financial pressure of essential services by providing free education, subsidized transportation, and free healthcare. The model focuses on making important services more accessible while helping families maintain a better quality of life despite rising everyday costs.

Education Subsidy
Education would be provided free of charge through the secondary school level, with the focus placed on quality learning rather than simply removing school fees. The model provides for modern learning environments, qualified teachers, practical facilities, digital learning resources, and the infrastructure required to give children a strong educational foundation without placing the cost of basic education on families.

Transportation Subsidy
For more than a decade, rising fuel prices have placed significant pressure on Nigerian households and businesses, with the cost of transportation becoming a major part of everyday economic concerns. Rather than allowing the cost of fuel to determine whether people can afford to move around for work, school, healthcare, business, and other daily activities, the model provides an alternative through subsidized public transportation. Affordable mass transit would help citizens continue their day-to-day movement at a lower cost, even when fuel prices rise.

Healthcare Subsidy
Healthcare would be provided free of charge, with the objective of ensuring that access to quality medical care is not determined by a person’s ability to pay at the point of need. The model focuses on modern healthcare facilities, qualified medical personnel, essential medicines, diagnostics, preventive care, and quality treatment so that individuals and families can access the healthcare they need without the financial burden of medical bills.

Child & Family Support
A family support programme designed to provide practical assistance to eligible parents and families. Child allowance would provide financial support to help eligible parents meet the everyday costs associated with raising children, while housing and rent support would help eligible families manage the cost of accommodation and maintain stable housing. The objective is to reduce financial pressure on families and provide additional support where household income may not be sufficient to meet essential family needs.
